At Made by Chie, I take great pride in the quality and craftsmanship of every handmade item and digital design. Because I am a small, independent studio, I have established the following policies regarding returns and cancellations.
1. All Sales Are Final
I do not accept returns or exchanges for “change of mind” or buyer’s remorse. Please review all product photos, descriptions, and dimensions carefully before completing your purchase. By completing your order, you acknowledge that you are purchasing a unique, handmade item or digital file.
2. Custom & Commissioned Orders
Any item created specifically to your specifications—including custom amigurumi colors, personalized stationery, or commissioned character designs—is Final Sale. These items represent significant time and materials tailored to you and cannot be returned or resold.
3. Digital Products
All sales of digital downloads (such as PDF crochet patterns or digital tracing sheets) are final. Once the digital link has been sent to your email or accessed, the transaction is complete and non-refundable.
4. Damaged or Defective Items
I want you to love your purchase. If an item arrives with a structural manufacturing defect (e.g., a popped seam or a significant printing error):
Notification: Please contact me at emailme@chieferrelli.com within 48 hours of delivery.
Evidence: You must provide photographic evidence of the defect and the packaging.
Resolution: I will provide a repair, replacement, or refund at my discretion to ensure the issue is resolved.
5. Exclusions (User-Inflicted Damage)
I am not responsible for damage caused by:
Improper handling or “rough play.”
Attempting to machine wash items that are labeled as “Spot Clean Only.”
Normal wear and tear or accidental breakage after the item has been received.
6. Shipping & Lost Packages
Address Accuracy: Please double-check your shipping address at checkout. I cannot provide refunds for items sent to an incorrectly provided address.
Carrier Issues: Once an item is marked as “Delivered” by the carrier (USPS/UPS), Made by Chie is no longer responsible for the package. I do not provide refunds for items stolen from porches or mailboxes after confirmed delivery.
Return Shipping: In the event a return is authorized, the customer is responsible for all return shipping costs.
