All content on this site—including but not limited to amigurumi designs, crochet patterns, digital tracing pads, stationery artwork, photography, and branding—is the exclusive property of Chie Ferrelli.
License: Your purchase of a physical or digital product grants you a personal, non-transferable license.
Restrictions: You are strictly prohibited from reselling, redistributing, or claiming my designs or patterns as your own. Unauthorized use of this content may result in legal action.
3. Product Safety & Collectible Status
Our handmade amigurumi figures are sold as decorative collectibles, not toys.
Choking Hazard: Items may contain small parts (such as safety eyes, internal armatures, or small accessories) that could pose a choking hazard.
Age Warning: These items are not intended for children under the age of 3.
Liability: Made by Chie is not liable for any injury or incident resulting from the improper use of our products.
4. Allergy & Environment Disclosure All Made by Chie products are created in a pet-friendly home studio shared with dogs and cats. While we maintain a clean workspace and inspect every item, we cannot guarantee that items are 100% free of pet dander or stray hairs. If you have a severe animal allergy, please take this into consideration before purchasing.
5. Orders, Pricing, & Payments
Accuracy: We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order. In the event of a pricing or description error, we will notify you and provide the option to cancel or proceed at the correct price.
Security: Payments are processed via secure third-party systems (e.g., Stripe, PayPal). We do not store your full credit card or financial information.
6. Shipping & Risk of Loss
All orders are shipped via third-party carriers (e.g., USPS).
Responsibility: Risk of loss and title for items pass to you upon delivery to the carrier.
Delivery: We are not responsible for items lost or stolen once they have been marked as “Delivered” by the carrier. Please ensure your shipping address is secure.
7. Digital Products
For digital downloads (PDF patterns, digital tracing sheets, etc.):
Final Sale: All sales are final once the download link is delivered or accessed.
Technical Requirements: You are responsible for having the appropriate software (e.g., a PDF reader) and hardware to use these files. We do not provide technical support for third-party applications.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Made by Chie shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or website. Our total liability is limited to the purchase price of the product in question.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Massachusetts.
